The development of domestic power transformers industry

Electrical transformer is a kind of static electrical equipment, which is used to distribute the alternating voltage (current) of a certain value into alternating voltage (current) of several different values. After so many years of continuous development, we can say that the integral level of the domestic transformers industry has reached the international first-class level at present, and the quality is almost the same with imported products.
As we all know, to reach the top level of global transformers industry, we should focus on two aspects: product capacity and voltage level. At the beginning of the eleventh five-year plan, China has been a leading global producing and applicating country, but not strong enough. At that time, there were only a few enterprises can produce 500KV ultra high voltage transformers in China, so the market of ultra high voltage transformers was occupied by those foreign enterprises. As the running of UHVAC demonstration project, domestic transformers enterprises usher in the new opportunities and development space.
At present, China has had the ability to produce the world's leading distribution transformers, and our products have been exported to the Europe, Oceania, Africa, Asia and many other countries, which fully embodies that the China-made products have been accepted by the world widely. The official in charge of the branch of China electrical transformers industry association, said that in the future, power transformers will develop to aspects of energy-saving, low noise, fireproofing, anti-explosion and high reliability. There are two main developing directions: one is to high voltage and ultra high voltage direction, especially 750KV and 1,100KV; and another is to energy-saving and miniaturization direction. The former is mainly applied in long distance electric transmission and distribution circuit, while the later is mainly applied in urban electric transmission and distribution circuit.
