Comparison of Advantages and Disadvantages between LED Lamp and Induction Lamp

Both LED lamp and induction lamp are epoch-making products which highlight the lives of human beings. Advantages of LED Lamp
LED lamp consumes less energy when compared with traditional ones. Besides, led lamp possesses quite long service life which can even reach up to nearly 100,000 hours. Moreover, high upfront cost is also regarded as a disadvantage for LED lamp.
Advantages of Induction Lamp
Induction lighting is energy-saving as well. It is widely acknowledged that energy savings mean great impact on the operation costs. In addition, induction lamp is very durable for it is capable to last 5 to 10 times longer than traditional lamps. Moreover, induction lamp helps the users minimize maintenance costs in terms of its longer lifetime. More importantly, during the operation, induction lamp emits less noise so it can make users comfortable without a humming or buzzing.
Disadvantages of Induction Lamp
Induction lighting effect is not ideal in cold conditions. Besides, as hazardous materials, induction lamps are difficult for recycling since a mishandling will lead to disastrous consequences. Moreover, induction bulbs cannot be dimmed nor focused and it can only provide flood lighting fixtures, so it is not the ideal choice for users in some occasions.
In conclusion, both LED lamps and induction lamps have peculiar merits and demerits. So, when choosing the most suitable lamp for industry lighting or commercial lighting, we should focus on the requirements accordingly before we purchase lamps from the lighting factory.
