How to deal with your old clothes

All of us have so many old clothes at home, which always occupy much space, and we also need to spend time to tidy up the room. Today I will introduce what I do with my old clothes, wooden toys and other waste products. There’s a real move back to DIY, and I have learned to DIY 1/6 scale apparel and some simple accessories for my action figures with old clothes and waste paper. Because most of the soldier figures and war action figures need to be handled specially to have an old feeling, and old clothing and waste paper happen to have the sense that we need.

1, Get all the specific measurements including shoulder-shoulder, waist, hips and length and so on.

2, Have a general idea about what style you can make for your action figures. It should be as simple as possible because complicated styles may damage its articulation.

3, Prepare a pair of small scissors to cut the cloth into pieces as you designed.

4, Sew up the cut lines and make them to be well-made clothing. Personally speaking, I prefer to make dresses because it is much easier.

5, Use paint or color pen to color it.

6, At last, try to put on new clothing for your action figures gently. You can also make a hat, belt and some other match accessories with the left cloth pieces or waste paper.
